When a tournament begins, players must take up the seat which they are allocated, and should try to place their blinds promptly before a hand begins.
The action always moves clockwise around the table, and players should show the same interest in the hand as usual until it comes to their turn to act.
There are other rules of course with the format of play in different variations of poker, but general rules on etiquette and cheating tend to be universal for all types of poker. You should try and familiarise yourself with the rules of any type of game before you play in a bigger tournament, but generally more experienced players will help new players with the rules and regulations if they are unsure.
