Paddy Power Poker – Is it Really for the Irish
Paddy Power Poker has always had a very Irish theme to it. The people in support are from this part of the world too, and many of the players are Irish. The Irish are notorious for being a friendly and hospitable people, and so for me, this certainly couldn’t hinder any site.

Quite the opposite in fact. Although there are a large contingent of Irish players onsite, there are also others from various parts of the world, and all are as welcome as each other. The exception to this is of course players from the U.S, but only due to American legislation which prevents them playing here.
I suppose historically the Irish have always been involved in horses and horse racing to a large degree, and so it is only natural that there will be another branch of betting such as poker linked to an Irish company.
I found that when I spoke to their operators in support over an issue, they were extremely friendly and helpful, and certainly would not worry about the fact that I wasn’t Irish myself.
Overall though I feel like Paddy Power have a following of players that play on the site partly for it’s Irish links. Especially if they are Irish themselves, but as with any gaming site, everyone is welcome and are treated the same.
That in itself answers the question at hand I would say. Paddy power is certainly for the Irish, but it is also welcoming, and a great site to play on, to people of any other nationalities too. So if you have never heard of the site, I would definately recommend taking a look.
